Sea and sky slopes
Maybe someone will arrive from the sea, or will flee to the window. Maybe a seagull will linger on the roof. Won't anyone show up to welcome it? What for? If it's enough with the waves and the sky that's going to slide down the slight slopes. And in other cases, boats and buoys, skylights and doors that invite to wait indefinitely while nature encourages us to contemplative leisure, to the parsimonious activity of eyes that cannot be closed.
Sitting and looking in silence. Letting ourselves be invaded by skies, walls and water.
Jorge Goyeneche, 2009.
